  2. Make an appointment
  3. Make a PayPal for session
  4. You receive an emailed intake form to fill in& return before appointment
  5. Be prepared for appointments:
    (a) no disruptions for 2 hours
    (b) sit in a chair by regular phone or speaker phone
    (c) have pen and paper for notes
  6. You phone Jan at your designated appointment time

How often will my NLP sessions be with Jan?
That depends on your individual needs, and vary from 1 to 3 NLP sessions per week; 2 to 4 per month or 3 - 4 NLP sessions yearly (catch unresolved issues).

How do I choose a counselor, therapist or holistic coach?
(a) Google them by name, company and healing modality (such as NLP or Reiki). Read the information and articles that surface.
(b) Check website. See if they work with your issues. Is site informative?
Do they offer solution based therapy? Overall what insight or feeling do you get for the counselor? Have they healed personally? Does what they say give you feelings of hope? (website's created by professional designers may reflect their personality rather than the counselors.)
(c) How many years experience does the counselor have? What is their main healing focus? (they may use few NLP Hypnosis Techniques) Is this a full-time career?
(d) Phone the counselor to discover how they would deal with your issues. Do they have one specific way of working (techniques 1 to 5 for everyone) or are they flexible for your individual needs?

(e) Do they deal with the external or presenting behaviors and attitudes or do they seek to change your core limiting beliefs for permanent change?
(f) Are they patient with your questions? (if not this may be an indication that they will not be patient and flexible if you 'struggle' during a session)

Have they done their personal healing work?
Is their life working or are they in stress mode?
(h) Is it convenient to work with them? Are they flexible in times, days and evenings? Do you have to wait a long time for appointments?
(i) How do they charge? Is the cost per hour, per session or per issue? How long is a session? Is there a time limit or is there time if your resistance comes up? (An appointment should be flexible and at least 1 1/2 to two hours (or more) in case you require it)
(j) Overall, do they appear to be a good choice? Do they give you feelings of hope, competence, integrity, comfort, safety?
