Confident
People Think Differently
Than Unconfident People!
NLP researchers coached unconfident people to see their experiences the way confident people do and
found that they became more confident, felt they had
more choices and felt productive.
"NLP
makes changes without the usual agony that accompanies these
phenomena...
It affords the opportunity to gain flexibility,
creativity and
greater freedom of action than most of us now know... "Training

Reasons Why It's Hard To Change:
- you don't know 'how to change' to get what you want
- you have mixed feelings: part of you wants ...... and part of you doesn't
- you need to learn new skills, develop choices & integrate new behaviors
- you have not made the changes at your unconscious minds level
- you don't give yourself a chance or time (process to learn or change)
- you have not clearly defined what you don't want
- you have not clearly defined what you do want

What is NLP? (Neuro Linguistic Programming)
NLP is many different things: NLP is the study of excellence and excelled change, but it can not
be put in a box that say's that 'this' is what NLP is.
There are
many explanations and uses for NLP, each one is unique because NLP is different things from different
angles.
NLP depends on who is using it and how they are using it.
A public speaker uses NLP differently than a business
manager or sports coach. So you may have had an experience of NLP but not understand completely what NLP is.
Jan Mitchell, a Master Neuro
Linguistic Programming Therapist uses many NLP techniques in specific ways
that counsel her clients to heal, change and grow.
Jan individualizes powerful NLP Techniques, Strategies
and empowering NLP Hypnosis for each person's specific needs and desires. Jan coaches them to easily tap into their unconscious
mind, gain new awareness, heal and release the past, quickly make
positive change, install new choices,
and automatically integrate new positive and useful skills.
NLP Is The First Step Towards Your Dreams
NLP
Defined:
Neuro is the study of the
mind, our nervous system & how to change using our mind
to control our internal pictures, thoughts & feelings. It is
the study of 'How' what we think about, we bring about.
Linguistic is the study of our verbal and non verbal
communications (our senses) or what we internally see, hear,
feel, smell and taste. It is the study of how our senses create
our internal processes, leading to negative or positive experiences (beliefs& behaviors)
Programming is our brains many 'mental programs' (how we dress, drive, eat, enjoy, achieve, do relationships, etc.).
And how to reprogram our mind by changing the old mental
programs from limiting ones to empowering ones so you automatically
change, feel more confidence, happier & productive
The
name Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) is an umbrella for many NLP processes such
as NLP Rapport, NLP Modeling, NLP Reframing, NLP Hypnosis, NLP Anchoring,
NLP Fast Phobia Blaster, NLP Trauma Techniques, NLP Polarity Integration,
NLP Confidence Builders, NLP Time Line or NLP Journey Line Therapy,
NLP Assertiveness Strategy's, NLP Well Formed Outcome, NLP Goal
Strategies, NLP Reprogramming Beliefs & Behavior Patterns and
many more. (see explanations below and on other pages are specific NLP techniques that Jan uses).
NLP
History
NLP
was created by Richard Bandler, Linguist
John Grinder, Robert Dilts & Tad James in the 1970's. They focused their research on discovering what made top
Psychotherapists such as Milton
H. Erickson, Virginia Satir, Fitz Perls and Gregory Bateson successful in helping others change. (more NLP History)
NLP
And Your Senses
Much of NLP
is based on the combination of your senses: sight, sound, touch,
taste and smell. You use your senses to interpret your inner and
outer world.
Each person has a 'primary sense', Visual, Auditory or Kinesthetic (feelings) and your primary sense 'runs your mental programs'.
Although
you use a combination of all of your senses, you use one sense to
a greater extent than the others.
With
NLP, you quickly build self confidence and
you experience more of what you want in life
NLP Therapy works in all life areas: overcoming blocks, depression,
anxiety, phobias, anger, loss, trauma, physical. emotional or sexual
abuse, health, weight and body image issues, reaching goals, creativity,
sports, success, career, relationships, codependence, reprogram
limiting beliefs & behaviors.
NLP
Therapy requires very little 'talk therapy, so it
doesn't take years for you to change. Jan Mitchell, as a
Master NLP Therapist has access to the most advanced strategies to assist you to tap into your unconscious mind, quickly get to
the root of the problem, gain new awareness, change beliefs, integrate
positive beliefs, choices & behaviors to access more of the experiences you want now and in your future.
NLP
Glossary of Techniques & Strategies:
Some of the many NLP strategies Jan uses to individualize your change process are: NLP Hypnosis, NLP Reframing, NLP Well Formed Outcome, NLP Timeline Therapy, NLP Anchoring, NLP Polarity Integration, NLP Trauma and NLP Phobia Strategies, NLP Communication Strategies, NLP Rapport, NLP Resource State, NLP Congruence, NLP Modeling, NLP Future Pacing, NLP Relationship Strategies, NLP Assertiveness Training & NLP Boundaries Strategies, NLP Weight Strategies, NLP Health Techniques, NLP Confidence Strategies and a host of others.
NLP
Hypnosis: is similar to Visualization, Closed Eye
Process, a Trance State, Self Hypnosis, a Meditation type state
and regular Hypnosis. It is a gently altered state, with an inward
focus of attention.
It is like a powerful, interactive,
Meditative State, where you are aware and in control
at all times. A Master NLP Therapist gently guides you,
using various NLP Strategies (depending on your specific needs), taking their cues from you, for you to heal and change.
When Jan guides you through NLP Hypnosis, she both guides
you and follows you to where (in your unconscious mind) you need to go to heal & change. This is the NLP Hypnosis Therapists
job (not yours) to keep you on track, awake, inwardly focused &
refocus you if your mind scoots out and goes shopping.
NLP
Reframing: Opens new awareness that each behavior,
gives you something you want, even 'negative' behaviors. All behaviors
have a benefit to you. (yes, even the behaviors that you don't like)
This process guides you to discover what you are getting or what
you want to get, from a behavior (often a need to protect yourself,
be safe, loved, secure, joy, etc.) Reframing develops more positive
choices, options and behaviors to get it (the benefit) in a more
positive way, which leads to you changing automatically.
NLP
Anchoring: A powerful way to get in touch with positive
resources when you want them, such as Confidence, Love, Happiness
etc.
NLP
Polarity Integration: When there is an internal conflict or part of you that wants one thing and part of you that wants something
else. We discover what each 'part' wants (often protection, love
etc.), integrate them, resulting in feelings of wholeness, then
reframe to develop positive congruent choices and behaviors.
NLP
Well Formed Outcome: A way of thinking about and expressing
an outcome or goal, which makes it clear, achievable and verifiable. This includes what you will see, hear and feel when you have your
goal and blocks you from achieving it.
NLP
Congruence: State of being unified, whole, centered, with
all aspects of a person working together toward a positive outcome.NLP
Resourceful State: A total neurological and physical experience when a person feels positive and resourceful.
NLP
Future Pace: Mentally rehearsing a future outcome or goal,
ensuring that the desired behavior will occur.
NLP
Strategy: A sequence of thought and behaviors to obtain
a particular positive outcome. NLP Strategies include many Processes
and Techniques that are unique to Masters NLP Therapists.
NLP
Modeling: The process of learning, practicing or being taught
newer or more positive mental programs. It has a powerful NLP twist
on 'Acting as If' that integrates the changes into your unconscious
mind (in ways that work for you) automatically
NLP
Rapport & Communication: You gain greater understanding of yourself, your reactions to others and improved communications
skills.
NLP
Timeline Therapy: began with the study of how our mind stores memories and experiences. This study by Tad James and W. Woodsmall became Timeline therapy. NLP Timeline Therapy is based on the events, memories, past loves, happiness, fears, trauma's, limiting beliefs and empowering
beliefs, behaviors, choices and decisions of our past, present and future. It is how we use our unconscious mind to interpret these happenings. It is based on the
pictures, sounds and feelings of our past, present and future. NLP Timeline therapy gently counsels you to release
negative experiences, learn the lessons, reconnect happy memories, enjoy living in
the now and to create a positive future.
NLP
Associated: Learning to be associated into pleasant, happy
experiences, as if inside an experience, seeing through your own
eyes, fully in your senses, as if you are experiencing it now and
feeling In touch with it.
NLP
Disassociated: Learning to be disassociated from negative
experiences, helps you to let them go. Releasing the emotions so
you function more positively now and enjoy the moment.
NLP's
many healing Trauma and abuse strategies heal anxiety, depression,
co-dependency, abuse issues, phobia's and much more. These NLP techniques
release the past so you can move on comfortably and enjoy your life.
NLP Relationship Strategies teach you to improve old
relationships, communication, understanding and build healthy new
relationships. Plus it guides you to release old relationships from
the past.
NLP Assertiveness Training and NLP Independence
Strategy coach you to install firm (caring) boundaries,
release 'over-sensativity', handle criticism comfortably. These
NLP strategies guide you to be more yourself when you are interacting
with others.
NLP
Boundaries and Assertiveness Therapy: This therapy teaches you to
develop healthier boundaries, supporting choices,
to make wise decisions and to release over sensitivity or unhealthy connectedness. In this
one we are building firm yet caring Boundaries
NLP Independence Strategy: The NLP Independence
Strategy is a NLP Visualization that coaches you to automatically understand your boundaries, release over sensitivity &
be more independent. You can learn to be yourself when you
are with other people.
Spiritual
Boundaries:
Experience Spirit's loving, healing,
energy flowing within you, balancing you, connecting you, protecting you from negativity.
NLP Handling Unhealthy Over Sensitivity Hypnosis Strategy: When we are too sensitive or if we are too often 'over'
sensitive to what others say, do or to experiences. We look
inside first, when something happens and think it is our fault.
It can often tie in with limiting beliefs about ourselves for example that we are
not good enough.
NLP Constructively Dealing With Criticism: The inability
to understand and accept criticism is linked to negative beliefs
about yourself and others. It may be a fear of rejection or
of not being good enough. In this NLP Hypnosis exercise you
gain awareness of what the other person's stuff is and what
is your 'emotional stuff or garbage'. Sometimes we step right
smack into the firing line of someone's wrath simply because
we're in the wrong place at the wrong time. This exercise teaches
you to separate them and see them in a healthier way; as if
from a step back.
Dealing with Conflict: this NLP Strategy
give you a wider scope of options and choices to deflect, release
and deal comfortably with conflict.
Fear of Rejection is the risk of losing acceptance.
Asking for what we think we rightfully deserve, does not come
easily to many women. To ask for a recognition of our worth,
is covered with so many qualifiers that we often do not get
it. We must remember that NO! is not a personal rejection. It
means not now, not this one or not this way. Not yet. Perhaps
you can rephrase the question in a better way in the future.
